Welcome to the website for people interested in the surname Goacher and its variants including Goatcher, Gocher, Gotcher and Goucher. (Where the word Goacher appears on this website it signifies any of the variant spellings of the name.)

I have been researching the surname and its variants for nearly 20 years.  In that time I have received extensive help and input from Goacher descendants in both the UK and overseas. With their help I have built up a large database of references to these surnames from a variety of sources.

The aim of this one-name study is to gather and provide access to information on the surnames from any available sources worldwide.

The project has been registered with the Guild of One Name Studies in the UK.
